We just love all the excitement approaching Christmas and there is nothing better than when our brand of fun Yorkshire wedding videography is mixed with a fantastically festive wedding in the midlands.

Stacey & Martyn had a super fun wedding on their minds from the moment they started planning their day. After all, weddings are the perfect opportunity to collect up friends and relatives from afar and bring everyone together in one place for a truly, awesome party. As York wedding videographers, we just love when we get to go on videography adventures outside of Yorkshire and so were absolutely thrilled when Stacey & Martyn asked us to join them for their big day. We were even more excited when we caught a glimpse of the venue that they had picked and couldn’t wait to get stuck in and capture some really awesome Swancar Farm Country House wedding videography for them.

Swancar Country House

Swancar Farm Country House is a beautiful, old house surrounded by gorgeous countryside. Swancar has a barn in which Stacey and Martin’s reception was to take place and an amazing, high-oak-beamed, room in which the ceremony was to be held. Add to this some unseasonably gorgeous, sunshine and the scene was set for a day of super fun wedding videography.

The day got off to a flying start – I (Matt) joined a very relaxed Martyn and his groomsmen, while Jaye met up with Stacey. I just love the sense of anticipation in the morning and Stacey and Martyn were thoroughly enjoying themselves – surrounded by all their friends and family. A flurry of excitement later and after many memorable Swancar Farm Country House Wedding videography moments, it was time for the ceremony.

Stacey looked amazing as she walked up the aisle to meet Martyn. After a ceremony filled with touching moments and much laughter, Stacey and Martyn were finally married – walking back down the aisle to thunderous applause from their guests who were over the moon to see the newlyweds all set to begin their new lives together. As a York wedding videographer, the walk back down the aisle is one of my favourite moments of the day –the tense anticipation of the morning is suddenly released in a tumult of emotion which makes for some truly amazing, wedding videography moments.

Wedding Videography

The sun was setting in a gorgeous explosion of reds and purples as we took Stacy and Martyn out for some fun-filled wedding videography in the grounds of Swancar Farm Country House. Stacey and Martyn are a really cheerful couple, and it wasn’t long before they were laughing and joking together – perfectly relaxed and full of happiness. After a lot of fun and some really happy wedding videography moments, we made our way back inside to enjoy the reception.

A fantastic spread later and it was time for the speeches. Stacey kicked off with an epic speech that soon had the guests rolling in their chairs from laughter. Stacey’s father followed, recalling many touching moments from Stacy’s childhood. Finally, Martyn’s three best men concluded with a joke-filled appraisal of Martyn – which simultaneously managed to roast him as well as show their deep affection. We just loved capturing all the laugh-until-you-cry moments! We are sure they will be able to look back on their video with giant smiles on their faces.

Fun Wedding Videography

With the meal concluded and the speeches out of the way, it was time for everyone to really let their hair down and enjoy an evening of dancing and fun. Stacey and Martyn led the way on the dancefloor, with the admirable talents of Groove Station providing the music. It wasn’t long before the party was in full swing – showing no signs of slowing by the time we left much later with happy hearts and a heck of a lot of super fun Swancar Farm Country House Wedding Videography in the bag.

We absolutely loved Peter and Grace and their enthusiasm for having some of our super fun Yorkshire wedding videography on their wedding day. We get so much pleasure from building personal relationships with our couples and get a real thrill from their excitement in participating with the wedding videography and working together so that the wedding videography is an awesome reflection of their relationship. Peter and Grace were a match made in heaven and from the moment we met them, we just knew that we were in for a spectacular day of Acklam Hall Wedding Videography.

The sun was shining as I (Matt) met up with Peter in the morning and Jaye joined Grace for her bridal preparations. Peter was super excited to get going and was repeatedly checking out of the window for his guests to arrive and herald the beginning of the celebrations. I love all the anticipatory energy of the morning and Peter had this in plenty – full of high spirits and excitement about what the day had in store. After some awesome, fun wedding videography moments, suits were on and it was finally time for a vintage car ride over to Acklam Hall to await the coming of the bride.

Acklam Hall Wedding Videography

Acklam Hall is a strikingly beautiful building and a perfect backdrop for a day of super fun wedding videography. After a brief pause to strike some Charlie’s Angels inspired poses in front of Acklam Halls impressive frontage – we were in to the ceremony and ready to begin. As all good people are, Peter and Grace are lovers of Lego and had special Lego figures that resembled themselves to hold the rings in a presentation box. Something told me that these figures would be making many an appearance in their wedding video – providing the inspiration for some really fun Acklam Hall Wedding Videography moments. After a laughter filled ceremony, Peter and Grace were finally married and walking back down the aisle to rapturous applause.

Fun Wedding Videography

Why only have one confetti toss? Peter & Grace had planned two and had prepared many multi-coloured pom-poms to ensure they could get the maximum fun out of this moment – definitely our kind of people! Spirits were high and everyone was enjoying drinks in the gardens as we whisked Peter and Grace off for some fun wedding videography away from their guests. A little feed of the ducks later and we were back just in time for the meal.

Soon everyone was tucking into a gorgeous spread of food and it wasn’t long before the speeches began – Grace’s father kicking off with a heartfelt and funny speech that set the tone for the following. Peter and Grace are such generous people, and this quality was certainly reflected in their speeches with a mid-way presentation of a birthday cake to a guest who had turned thirty on the day.

Fun Wedding Videography

With bellies full of good food, it was time to get stuck into some board games and relax in the warm afternoon sunshine. As a York wedding videographer, we just love when weddings have such a fantastic vibe and all we have to think about is capturing all the super fun, wedding videography moments. After a blissfully restful afternoon, it was finally time to get the dancing shoes on and retire into the hall for the party to begin.

Peter and Grace led the charge, kicking the evening off with a cake cutting and first dance that ended with a pom-pom explosion. Peter and Grace are avid music lovers, and the energy was high. Finally, after a long day filled with some spectacular Acklam Hall Wedding Videography it was time for us to go – leaving Peter and Grace to dance the night away.

We were super excited when Susannah and Asif contacted us about filming their wedding celebrations at Dulwich College in London. As York wedding videographers we love going on the road and bringing our brand of fun Yorkshire wedding videography to new and exciting locations. We had previously met Susannah & Asif in London for a little engagement shoot over Christmas and we already knew that they were planning a super fun-filled wedding. We couldn’t wait to capture their day in true fun wedding videography style and see all the amazing things they had prepared. Needless to say, we were chomping at the bit by the time their day arrived, and it was with big smiles on our faces, that we set out to capture some awesome Dulwich College wedding videography.

The day started well with unseasonably warm sunshine and Asif was in fine form when I (Matt) arrived at his parents’ home in the morning. Jaye was to meet Susannah at Dulwich college and then we would be off to the church for the all-important ceremony. It wasn’t long before Asif’s best man had him in fits of laughter – making for some really fun wedding videography moments. Meanwhile, Jaye met with a nervously excited Susannah – capturing some fantastic moments from her morning preparations.  

Dulwich College Wedding

As a relaxed and fun wedding videographer, I love the build-up to the ceremony and the moment when the bride enters, and the groom sees her for the first time. Asif looked suitably stunned as Susannah made her way down the aisle and the ceremony began. The ceremony continued with a real sense of celebration in the air – perfectly suited to our fun Yorkshire wedding videography style.

Susannah and Asif exited the church to flurries of confetti and after some hugs and kisses, we whisked them away for a fun couple’s session of wedding videography. The blossom filled trees made for an awesome backdrop and it wasn’t long before we were feeling very happy with what we had caught and looking forward to getting over to Dulwich College and re-joining the party.

Fusion Wedding Videography

Dulwich College wedding videography really benefits from the grandeur of this beautiful old building and amazing grounds. By the time we arrived back at Dulwich the party was in full swing and we got busy capturing some amazing moments. The meal was to take place in the main hall – an amazing space which certainly added to the atmosphere as the speeches began. Susannah’s dad kicked off with some touching (and very funny) memories of Susannah growing up. Then it was over to Susannah and Asif to pass on their thanks to their guests – many of which had come from some far-afield locations. Finally, Asif’s best man had the hall filled with howls of laughter – absolutely delivering on his best man duties and providing one of the funniest best man speeches of our year.

Fun Fusion Wedding at Dulwich College

As a dual faith wedding, Susannah and Asif had really planned to make the most out of their wedding celebrations. A quick change into Indian outfits later and Susannah and Asif entered to thunderous applause and began their Nikkah ceremony. Dhool players had been planned for the evening celebrations and Asif and Susannah stunned their guests with an amazing, choreographed dance. We were absolutely loving our day of Dulwich College wedding videography and as the couple swirled around the dancefloor – we just knew that we were capturing some truly amazing wedding videography moments. Asif and Susannah – your day was so much fun, and we were so happy to be there to share it with you!

Being York wedding videographers, we adore our neck of the woods but that doesn’t mean that we don’t absolutely love when we get to take our unique brand of fun Yorkshire wedding videography to far flung places. Naturally then, we were thrilled when Mark & Anna invited us to film their wedding at Villa Catignano in Tuscany. Mark and Anna had planned an amazing day of celebrations, followed by an evening of dancing. We just couldn’t wait to join them and get some epic wedding video that they could look back on and treasure.
